Audi have announced plans of a whole series of styling and technology upgrades to their luxury saloons. New features include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a facelifted look.
The German manufacturer has released details of a revised version of the A6 and A7, luckily for us the tweaks won’t have any affect on the cost of the saloons.
First up, the A6 will see a range of subtle styling tweaks including styling details around the air inlets at the front, plus a more pointed sill and rear bumper. At the back the A6 also reaps the benefit of a new diffuser whilst the S line model will get a new black grille with super-stylish chrome slats. The chrome doesn’t stop there either as the side air ducts also get a touch of the chrome-brush whilst there will also be a further two new wheel designs for you to choose from.
Whilst we’re on wheels, the A7 goes one better and will have three additional alloy styles to choose from as well as three new body colours meaning more choice and more style. One of the additional colours is Java Brown, which had been exclusive to the A6 All Road whilst the other two are bright, vibrant colours: Matador red and Gotland Green.
Step inside both new models and you are greeted with LED ambient lights, with optional silver inlays, whilst the A6 Allroad model will also have it available in bronze.
Now for the new kit. Both models are now available with the option of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity as well as wireless charging for your mobile phone. Rear passengers will benefit from the latest set of upgrades as there are now optional two tablet computers that connect to the car and can also be removed and taken out of the car.
The A6 Allroad gets a new Advanced package which boasts a new brown and grey paint scheme, imposing 20” alloys, Valcona leather sports seats and brown upholstery complemented perfectly by stylish silver stitching.
