When should I service my Audi?

When to Service Your Audi

The two most popular service regimes* available to you are the flexible and fixed regimes**. Whichever regime you choose, your Multi-Media Interface (MMI) or myAudi account will show you when servicing is due. If you use the myAudi or Audi Connect Plug & Play app, you will automatically be notified via your smartphone when your vehicle is due for a service. These apps can also notify your preferred Audi Centre to get in touch for service booking. In addition to oil changes and inspections, there are a number of items that require replacements at specific times or distances. These items include air and pollen filters, spark plugs, fuel filters, brake fluid, and transmission oil. Your Heritage Audi Centre will advise you on the specific requirements of your car.

Oil Service

Petrol and diesel cars require oil servicing. Due to oil degradation, this service should be completed every two years or every 18,600 miles* - whichever comes first.

Inspection Service

An inspection service should be completed every two years or 18,600 miles – whichever comes first.

A flexible service regime is suitable for most cars and is designed to be cost-effective. However, a flexible regime is not suitable for every car. Please liaise with your local Heritage Audi Centre.
*Because your car calculates the rate at which oil degrades, the oil change service is flexible. Oil degradation is influenced by several factors, including driving style, journey types, and ambient temperature. The actual achieved mileage before an oil service is required ranges between 9,300 miles and 18,600 miles. For example, customers who drive longer distances, on motorways, or whose engines have lighter loads may require an oil service closer to the maximum mileage of 18,600 miles. If an oil service has not been completed earlier, it will be due after two years, irrespective of mileage.

Oil Service

Petrol and diesel cars require oil servicing every year or every 9,300 miles – whichever comes first.

Inspection Service

Inspection Services are required every two years or every 18,600 miles – whichever comes first. Some Battery Electric Vehicles have fixed inspection regimes of two years with no mileage criteria. Please check with your local Heritage Audi Centre for details.

Some customers prefer a fixed service regime, as visiting a Heritage Audi Centre annually provides extra peace of mind. Oil changes and inspections can be completed during the same service in the second year and provide more certainty surrounding your budget.

**Always check with your Audi Service Centre as exceptions apply
