The new Audi A5 Avant brings together elegant estate practicality, modern Audi design and a refined digital cabin. The new Audi A5 Avant is available with a choice of trims designed to suit different drivers. Sport brings a strong standard look and feel, including Sport styling and aluminium window trims. S line adds a more dynamic character, while Black Edition and Vorsprung introduce black exterior styling details for a bolder finish.
Vorsprung sits at the top of the current range, adding a 10.9 inch passenger display, matrix LED headlights with eight selectable light signatures and vanadium interior accents. The A5 Avant is built around practicality as well as style. It offers five doors, five seats and a versatile interior, with split folding rear seats and a 476 litre boot. Inside, the softwrap interior design flows from the doors into the digital stage, creating a clean, modern cabin. Front sport seats with four way electric lumbar support help support comfort on longer journeys, while heated front seats and three zone electronic climate control add everyday refinement.
The new Audi A5 Avant is offered with a range of petrol and diesel engines, with some using MHEV Plus technology to support the combustion engine. Audi UK lists performance data for the A5 Avant TDI quattro 204 PS, which delivers 204 PS, 400 Nm of torque and 0 to 62 mph acceleration in 6.9 seconds.
Drivers can also use Audi drive select to adjust the character of the car, helping tailor the drive for comfort, efficiency or a more responsive feel. S line, Black Edition and Vorsprung models come with sport suspension as standard.
The A5 Avant has a fully digitalised interior, centred around an 11.9 inch Audi virtual cockpit display and a 14.5 inch MMI display. Vorsprung models also include a 10.9 inch passenger display with a digital blind to help avoid distracting the driver.
Selected specifications and packs add further technology, including a head up display, Bang and Olufsen 3D premium sound system, ambient lighting package pro with dynamic interaction light and matrix LED headlights.
The A5 Avant is designed to feel composed, confident and easy to live with. Standard driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, rear view camera, lane assist and park assist plus. Vorsprung adds a 360 degree top view camera and adaptive cruise assist plus with steering intervention.
