Audi look set to unveil a new RS Q3 crossover at the Geneva Motor Show next month and it will even boast the same power as the RS 3 hatch.
The German manufacturer has introduced a new premium model of their smallest SUV, named the RS Q3. The latest Q3 will be powered by a 362bhp that will deliver 465Nm torque that underlies its status as the most powerful Q3 ever made.
The model will be on show in Switzerland next month and will go on the road from £49,175 in the UK. The RS Q3 is powered by the same 2.5 litre five-cylinder than it’s smaller counterpart but the German giants have managed to prize an extra 27bhp and 15Nm of torque to ensure its in line with the latest RS 3 hatch. This provides exceptional figures that means 0-62mph will take only 4.4 seconds - almost half a second quicker than before - whilst the top speed will be a very impressive 167mph. The 2.5 litre engine will be backed up by Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system and seven speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The new sporty SUV also benefits from a range of aesthetic tweaks including a matt-titanium finish for the front grille, roof rails and roof mounted spoiler. The RS Q3 will also boast 20 inch alloys, red caliper brakes and sports seats. The RS performance package also delivers RS sport leather steering wheel, gear lever selector, central armrest and floor mats with stylish blue stitching.
The Performance model goes on sale now for £3,365 over the basic RS Q3 whilst deliveries are anticipated to begin this spring. Keep your eyes peeled for the latest updates on the latest updates on the new RS Q3.
